Three decades of getting language right
Founded in 1997, Syzygy Information Services has grown into a trusted English–Chinese localization partner for the world's largest software, platform, and game companies — without ever losing the linguist-led, project-by-project attention it started with.
Syzygy Information Services was founded in 1997 by four linguists who believed translation deserved the same rigor as engineering. We began by localizing operating systems and office software for Corel, Microsoft, and IBM Lotus — and in 2003, Microsoft recognized our work with its Excellence in Localization award.
Nearly thirty years later, we still work alongside many of the world's largest software, platform, and game companies from our office in Taipei. What's changed is the depth of our tooling: mature translation memories, curated glossaries, and agile project workflows now sit alongside the same careful, human review our founders insisted on from day one.
We are a member of the Globalization & Localization Association (GALA) and the Taipei Translation & Attestation Association, and were formerly a member of the Localization Industry Standards Association (LISA).
Careful, human review — every project, every time

Language, management, technology — kept in sync
Three disciplines, working together on every project, whatever its size.
Language
Native Traditional and Simplified Chinese linguists who localize meaning and tone, not just words — trained on your terminology and style guide, not a generic template.
Management
Agile project management that scales from a single string update to a simultaneous, multi-market launch, with full visibility for every stakeholder.
Technology
Proven CAT tools, translation memory, and terminology systems, refined over two decades — chosen for reliability and confidentiality, not novelty.
Confidentiality comes first
We know most of what crosses our desks is under NDA long before it reaches us. Every project runs through a secure, in-house workflow with restricted file access and signed confidentiality agreements — your source material and translations stay within a process we control end to end.
Trusted and independently recognized
